Description of the activity
A guide for over 20 years (in France and Canada, USA, Africa, etc.), Vincent loves nature and the mountains, and enjoys sharing his passion with you. He knows the Vercors Natural Park, where he lives, inside out. He will be delighted to show you around. He studied science at university, mainly astronomy, but also geology, landscapes and their history.
Thursday mornings
For a day out in the mountains, he can take you along in complete safety to immerse yourself in nature. You'll discover some superb places and landscapes, and the little nooks and crannies of the Vercors hold no secrets for him.
We're in the Vercors, a hotbed of resistance. I'd like to take you on a tour of these places through the life stories that resistance fighters and their descendants have shared with me.
We'll go to the village of Valchevrière, a place steeped in memory, and walk through the history that made the Vercors famous. I simply invite you to reminisce. Having interviewed a number of 'old-timers' for two documentaries on this period, I've collected these living testimonies that I'd like to share with you on our walk to Valchevrière.
